KANOO Group Invitation Event _A promising business group in Saudi Arabia

On January 30, 2024, KLES welcomed the Power Industry Officials of Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group, a promising trading company in Saudi Arabia, visiting to KLES Daejeon H/Q, along with President Yang Se-seung and other officials of G-Tops Co., Ltd., which is the overseas trading outfit of Korea South-East Power Co.
KANOO Group is one of the multinational conglomerates with a deep history, established in 1890. It has been engaged in various activities such as shipping, logistics, travel, plant & energy (machinery, oil and gas, and power plant and industrial projects), finance, and real estate across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia.
During the event, we shared information about KLES's main products, business, and overseas achievements with KANOO Group managers and showcased KLES's culture by touring our premises.
KANOO Group appreciated KLES's track record of supplying Snubbers to the Rabigh Power Plant in 2016-2017, marking KLES's entry into Saudi Arabia. They inquired in detail about the inspection and maintenance services of pipe supporting devices related to this and emphasized KLES's expertise in the Middle East market, particularly evidenced by conducting 3D piping displacement measurements at the UAE Barakah Nuclear Power Plant until 2022.
After concluding the meeting in the conference room, the guests moved to experience VR simulation of scaffolding installation inside a boiler, which turned out to be the most enjoyable moment for KANOO Group members. They could virtually experience boiler scaffolding collapse, which no longer takes place in Korea after the application of SKYFFOLDING™ boiler scaffolding system to every domestic thermal plant.
Through KLES's unique products and projects, which may be unfamiliar in Saudi Arabia or more broadly in the Middle East, KANOO Group raised many questions and comparisons, promising to pursue continuous collaboration in the future.
As KLES has successfully expanded its business in the Southeast Asian market, we anticipate similar opportunities for success in the Middle East countries in the near future.
