About KLES
Academy
A dedicated education & training institute organically curated with structured training courses for breeding up piping management professionals; and for boiler scaffolding specialists on patented boiler in-furnace scaffolding systems and their erection methods.
Each course is sophisticatedly orchestrated by brilliant professional faculty in their respective fields, with the top priority on upscaling related knowledge and job duties & skills through systemized training curriculums.
- *Highly dependable training center established through collective collaborations.
- *The sole and unique power piping training facility in the country.
KLES Academy Establishment Background
The plumbing accidents show on a rising trend because the pipelines of power plants or heavy chemical plants are getting aged in the course of long-term operations, and also because of natural disasters like earthquakes breaking out more often recently. Now, it is the time for specialized systematic education & training to be introduced to help operate and maintain the piping system on the field in a more practically proactive mode, rather than reactively in the past.
In an effort to make the most of 3DDMS and Sling rod systems, nominated the 'Selected Item for Development’ by big-five power companies, KLES came up to open up this training center so that the participants can be educated about the principal theories and their applications, taking advantage of simulation facilities intended to make up actual onsite working environments.
Through the collaborative courses of training both theoretical and practical, the practitioners get to learn and improve their abilities and skills to operate and manage the power piping system and the equipment.
Training Course Objectives
“Piping Professionals Training Course”, launched in October 2011, has successfully turned out more than 500 piping professionals from about 20 companies so far.
The program aims to train the professional workforce to grasp the basic design concepts of the pipes and the pipe supporting devices with their inspection & analysis methods, and the piping 3D spatial movement, thereby upscaling the level of job competencies of the piping practitioners concerned.
In addition, catching the sea-changing wave of the times, the Academy is aware of the need and takes steps to conduct more in-depth education by adding up new curriculums such as KEPIC MGE, vibration basics for facility system conservation, valve and steam systems, and so on.
Trainees can soak up that essential knowledge necessary in practice through systematic curriculums, sophisticatedly orchestrated by prestigious gurus boasting vast professional expertise in their respective domains. A variety of practical cases in point can be applied to piping system management in a fashion to be most fitted in with their own plants.
Specialized technology-directed training courses pitched at working-level managers.
Hands-on training courses making use of virtual simulators replicated on the place, as if at the power plant site.
An interactive academic platform working out collaborative problem tracking-down protocols in the multi-angle perspectives, by a get-together of numerous power plant mates.

Simulation Program
This is an education program that improves the management skills of the practitioners, through collaborative courses to grasp the concept principles and exercise their applications, making practical use of the actual field-like simulation devices and environments in the simulator facility.
This is a system that simulates the movement of piping and pipe supporting devices installed in a power plant. Practices are conducted to analyze the cause of problems occurring in the actual piping and to prepare countermeasures.
By implementing a demo system of Sling rod installed at the top of the boiler and designed to support and balance the overall load of the boiler, helping make it easier to comprehend the concept of Sling rod and boiler supporting devices and to learn the mechanics of boilers and pipes through boiler load balancing exercise.
