The completion ceremony for the Smart Agrivoltaics and E-Mobility Integrating Project was held on the Nov. 22nd at Bogor Agricultural Uni. in Indonesia.

The event was attended by officials from KLES Inc., Korea Energy Agency, EWP, Envelops, Bogor Agricultural Uni., and the Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS).

This is a demonstration project that integrates a 50-kilowatt (kWp) smart agrivoltaics system into a battery-swappable electric two-wheeler charging station.

KLES was in charge of the comprehensive construction of a variable agrivoltaics system featuring solar panel angle-controllable.

​In addition, at this completion ceremony, KLES, Envelops, and Bogor Agricultural Uni. signed an MOU, and based on this, they plan to further expand the smart agricultural solar power project that links various demand resources such as e-mobility and agricultural facilities to promising agrivoltaics markets like Indonesia in the Asia Pacific region.

It aims to promote adaptation to agricultural climate impacts, energy transition in rural areas, and farm income enhancement while identifying relevant offshore carbon reduction models to contribute to securing domestic carbon credits for Korea.
