KOEN announced on the 28th that it hosted a completion and harvest ceremony on Oct 25th for the "Naju Namseok #1 & 2 Agrivoltaic Plants" in Nampyeong-eup, Naju-si.

​Around 30 officials attended the event, including Naju Mayor 'Yoon Byung-tae'; KOEN's Head of Management Support 'Kim Sun-jong'; 'Lee Heon-dae', Director of the Large & Small Business and Agricultural and Fishery Cooperation Foundation; Korean Energy Foundation Secretary-General 'Ju Young-nam', and Hanam Village Representative 'Yoon Seung-hyeok'. The event featured a handover ceremony for the agrivoltaic system and a rice harvest from the fields beneath the solar panels.

​Through this initiative, which not only reduces carbon emissions by expanding renewable energy adoption but also supports rural sustainability and local economic growth, the company aims to give back additional income from clean solar energy to local residents beyond the farm income.
