At the 2024 KEPIC-WEEK opening ceremony, Vice President Ha Seung-woo won the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy Award.
KEPIC (Korea Electric Power Industry Code) refers to a private sector standard in the electric power industry that outlines the technical and institutional requirements necessary for ensuring the quality of power facilities. It provides methods and procedures tailored to the domestic industrial context, covering aspects such as design, manufacturing, construction, operation, maintenance, testing, inspection, and decommissioning.
The "2024 KEPIC-WEEK," organized by the Korea Electric Association, aimed to promote the internationalization of KEPIC and to envision the future of the electric power industry. The event successfully concluded on September 6th.
During the event, over 200 papers were presented in specialized fields such as small modular reactors (SMRs) and the current regulatory framework for spent nuclear fuel. In addition, committees, seminars, and workshops were held to discuss the latest technologies and related issues, with a focus on promoting KEPIC maintenance and management.
At the opening ceremony on September 5, three individuals who contributed to the advancement of the electric power industry received awards from the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy:
Vice President Ha Seung-woo of KLES Inc., Advisor Song Myung-ho of ANSCO, and Managing Director Ha Je-dae of IREM.
Congratulations to Vice President Ha Seung-woo on receiving the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy Award!
