On November 10th, the Chungcheong Branch of the 'Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers' [KSME], led by Branch chairman Dr. Park Jong-won, also serving as the Director of the Reliability Evaluation Research Lab at the 'Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials', hosted the 2023 Fall Academic Conference and Regular General Meeting. This distinguished event took place at the headquarters of KLES Inc.

The Fall Academic Conference, initiated with an opening address by Chairman Park Jong-won, was graced by the presence of over 70 members including Dr. Ha Seung-woo, Vice President of KLES Inc. The event unfolded with scholarly paper presentations, a captivating capstone design competition showcasing the graduation projects of engineering students, and an insightful special lecture delivered by Professor Lim Jae-hyuk of 'Jeonbuk National Univ.' (Physics knowledge-based machine learning and its application in mechanical engineering); and successfully ended up with the Regular General Meeting.

Looking ahead, KLES honorably reaffirms its commitment to collaborating harmoniously with the KSME Chungcheong Branch, voluntarily stepping up to a leading role in steering the trajectory of mechanical engineering through collective efforts spanning academia, industry, and research institutions.
