KLES Steps Up Collaboration to Roll Out Agrivoltaics (APV) Nationwide
KLES has teamed up with energy IT company HAEZOOM and climate-tech company ENVELOPS to form the “Smart APV Alliance.” The parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to scale up its agrivoltaics-based Solar Income Village initiative nationwide.
The alliance points toward rolling out the agrivoltaics (APV) model across the country—an approach that enables farmers to carry on with agricultural activities while bringing in solar power generation revenue at the same time.
Built around an integrated solution that ties together design, construction, operation, and power trading, the initiative will put in place a system that keeps agricultural production up and running while securing long-term operational stability.
Drawing on the agrivoltaics construction and operation experience it has built up over the years, KLES will take on structural design and supply, oversee construction quality, and carry out project execution, thereby helping set up field-driven standards.
